As is generally known within the hotel sector, LusoCristal Consulting, Ltd signed a partnership protocol with the Portuguese Hotel Association (A.H.P) in 2004.
The principal objective of this protocol is to offer assistance to member hotels to improve levels of hygiene and food safety. It also included the joint development of a Good Practices Manual for Hotel Food Safety and Hygiene.
The Good Practices Manual was approved on 22-04-2005 by the Direcção-Geral da Fiscalização e Controlo da Qualidade Alimentar (General Directorate for the Inspection and Control of Food Quality).
